Good Afternoon Everyone,

I am so sorry for not updating much lately. I've had a rather difficult time getting into the computer. I am sorry to say the cast did not work so I ended up having surgery on October 10 and they put three pins in my leg just below my left knee. Doing much better now but got the disturbing news yesterday that I will not be going back to work before Jan. 15th. That means I will have been off work for 4 months. Thank the Good Lord that I have a short term disability policy that will caver part of that time.

Skyler is doing great. He is growing like a weed. We have only seen him twice since Labor Day but that was because of my accident. He will be coming for Thanksgiving and getting to stay for 4 days. He is so excited. When I talked to him the other day he wanted to come then.

He is having some problems in school but I kind of think that maybe his Mom started him a little early. He just turned 5 in June. Maybe I am just old fashioned but I always thought it was better to wait until they were 6.

Now that I am getting around much better I will be trying to sign guestbooks as I get a chance.

Wishing everyone a safe weekend. Remember to take a minute to sign our guestbbok so we know who stopped by.

thanks, grandma joanie
