Stephanie’s Story

Site created on April 27, 2015

All of these lines across my face
Tell you the story of who I am
So many stories of where I've been
And how I got to where I am
But these stories don't mean anything
When you've got no one to tell them to

It’s true 💜

Journal entry by Stephanie Hunter —

Today is the anniversary of the day that I was told I was in remission. I am now considered cancer free because 5 years passed without the reaver or its cells of doom resurfacing.

It will be top of my list of things to be thankful for as I sit down with my immediate family tomorrow for Thanksgiving. It does seem like a task to come up with new items to put on the list, but I’m lucky to have a big one this year.

I don’t have much else to say, but I wanted to share this with you because you’ve all helped me stay sane and loved as time passed by to get to this point.  Thank you!

Love the shit outta you!
