Here's the latest report...Sherrod is still doing great! He continues to improve in all areas. He is walking on the treadmill, both in the pool and in the gym (at the ranch), working on stairs, etc. He is reporting that he continues to see better every day and has even been able to see parts of his Blackberry menu...watch out, he'll soon be able to dial numbers! He is wearing glasses that have a prism lens to retrain the muscles in his eyes. It seems to be working. On the medical side, the latest MRI came back with great results. His doctors are beginning to taper down his medications. We saw the neurologist today and she is very impressed. She told Sherrod that he is "truly a miracle patient". That was a good confidence booster for him! Release date is still May 20, and he will continue as an outpatient after that. We are ready for him to be home, and to start working on a normal family routine again! More later...thanks for keeping up with us!
