We went out to Syracuse to celebrate the holidays with Cary's dad's family yesterday. We stopped by his aunt's house. She was diagnosed with cancer a couple of weeks ago (tumor in her intestines...ended up bladder cancer that has metastasized). She was weak but mostly alert. Her face lit up to see us. We said goodbye as we knew it wouldn't be long. We told her that she was in our thoughts and prayers. She asked us to pray that it go quickly. Cary's dad called this morning and she passed away last night in her sleep. RIP Aunt Marlyn.
