Shelby was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor, Glioblastoma Multiforme at the age of 17 months. After 19 months of treatment, Shelby passed away on October 18, 2007. She was a silly little girl who loved life, and didnt let cancer stop her from living.

Hey there. Things are going well around here. Quincey is growing fast. It seems like a new little girl each week. She has gone from looking just like Shelby to just like Lee. She is doing well, has some reflux problems, but very healthy. She has brought some healing to us and more laughter in our lives. Its amazing what little ones do for your soul. We continue to miss Shelby more and more. She would be a great big sister. She loved to take care of her baby dolls (feed them, change their diapers, hold them, and love on them). I know she would do the same with Quincey. It still amazes me that she has been gone over a year now. It feels like forever since we have held her or heard her sweet voice. We have voice recordings of her on Lee's phone we listen to often. They make me smile and cry both.

December 6 is sneaking up on us. Not long until our trip for the marathon. I know there have been several people express interest in going, for those of you interested, make sure and get signed up. We will be ordering shirts this week and need to know how many and what sizes. We also ask for your continued support for our team. As Danny Thomas said "I would rather a million people give a dollar than one person give a million dollars". To donate to our team click on the link above. Once you get to the team page you can click on any member you wish to support. Give a dollar or ten whatever best fits you. We have chosen this as our event to support St Jude each year. It is a great way for us to remember Shelby. She loved to take walks and ride in her stroller. She would always say "go fast". She also loved St Jude, so this allows us to enjoy both. Thank you again for your continued support so that one day the will find a cure for childhood cancer!!

Please continue your prayers for all our little friends at St Jude who continue their battles. Noah is coming close to end of treatment. He has had a rough time latley with low counts and fevers on and off. www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahjackson . Khloie has just had her 4th major brain surgery and is beginning radiation. www.caringbridge.org/visit/khloiefarran . And many other little ones too.

Take care, Nicole
