Well, the two year mark of Shawn's death is upon me. Heck, its upon all of us. Shawn would want us to all to remember him for his kindness and patience. And of course his DANCE MOVES!!!!!! LOL
And for his greatest accomplishment ever, Charlie Mae. (who is seriously like.... the best kid ever) He was such an amazing man. I hope this day is precious for all of you. He was more than a partner and a husband to me. He was my best friend. And not a day goes by that our families and friends don't think of him. We should all be so blessed to have had him in our lives for the time that we did. His memory will always be alive and I am sure he is watching over all of us. I know he protects me and Charlie everyday. Even though I woke up two years ago a happily married woman and fell asleep that night a lost widow, I want all of you to know that I am doing alright. Charlie and I moved to southern California in December and could not be happier. She is now four and will be graduating from pre-school next Friday. She is totally amazing. There is not a day that passes by that I don't tell her an awesome story about her dad, and how funny he was. She has his charisma and can charm just about anyone she comes across. I thank him everyday for giving me the strength to raise our child, but most importantly for giving me her. I feel like the luckiest person on earth, because I get to spend everyday with his daughter. I hope all of you have been doing well over these last two years. May Peace be with all of you, always.
