Shadd broke his neck on March 15. The injury occurred at Prairie Nights Casino in Bismarck ND when he was bucked off of a bull while competing at a bull riding. Shadd said he knew immediately that he had broke something because when he tried to get up his legs wouldn't work.
Woohoo we are home. It was a very long trip but we made it. When we were leaving the hospital Shadd stopped at the front doors. The tech that was helping us out said, “Why are you stopping?” Shadd stood up and said, “I’m walking out of this b%*#h!”And so he did about 15 feet to the car, and I walked beside him for extra support. 4 months ago Shadd was wheeled in the hospital on a cart, and yesterday he walked out!!!!!!!!! Thank you everyone for all your support it means the world to me and Shadd both.
