Hello! I read your story and was complety touched. The first thing I noticed was that your daughter was brought up to heaven at 3:16.... I thought of the verse John 3:16 where it talks about having everlasting life..... If you need anything please let me know. I know your cousin Natalie and she asked for prayer and I have ever since she asked.  Lean on the Lord.....

What a fitting name, "Caring Bridge".  It has been a bridge to connect so many people to Serenity and to you, Anna & Soren, and we have
prayed right along with you.  We've smiled with you and cried with you, and now, we will walk with you in spirit as you mourn the loss
of your precious little girl.  May you feel God's presence ever so near, even if "understanding" isn't possible right now.  God will carry you
through, and all those who felt as though we came to know Serenity
through your journaling, will have you on their hearts.  I pray for the peace that passes all understanding.....love in Jesus, Jo Ann

    Anna,
You were breaking my heart this morning.  I could feel your desperation in the words you wrote.  I am so glad to read this afternoon that Serenity is doing better and so are you.  I know that this doesn't help when you are feeling low but remember to give Serenity back to God.  She is His first and yours second.  That is so hard to swallow when you want to hang on with both hands.  I have been there.  I am there right now with my mom.  She was diagnosed with Multiple Mylomia a couple of weeks ago.  I needs to lay her at Jesus feet and ask HIm to do His will in her life but it is so hard.  I don't want to do anything but lay beside her and visit as much as I can.  It is different when it is your child, so much harder.  You are doing great even when you doubt and get mad.  It is OK to feel what you feel, HE understands us, he created us too.  You are such a good mom in a helpless situation.  God is cradling you in His arms to day.  Let HIm comfort you, as He comforts Serenity.  I will continue to pray for healing for your baby.  I love you Anna, Bonnie Jean Connell

    Anna,
I dont know what to do.  I want to be there when you need me most.  I can come at any time.  If you want me there this week instead of later, I can do that.  I can be there as soon as tomorrow afternoon.  Just let me know.  I want to be there for YOU!  Tell me if that would help or if you and Soren are okay or what.  I just want to help, but am not sure when or how.

We are sooo glad to hear she is making good progress. Max and I pray for her everynight. Though I haven't told him much about what is going on right now. As far as he knows she is like she was the last time her aw her still sick like that and that is what we are praying for, for her to just get healthy so they can play outside without tubes.

Serenity, We are praying for you.  We know you are a fighter and we know that we serve a great big God.  We love you, Serenity, and are going to be able to visit you soon.  But in the meantime, rest in God's big, strong, healing arms.  We love you beyond words, little precious girl.  Love Uncle Ron, Aunt Jamie, and cousins Andrew, Josiah, Annie, and Ruth.

Dear Soren, Anna, Serenity, and all ... please KNOW that we are praying for you, and that you are NOT alone in this!

I have asked several groups of friends (those that I KNOW will pray, for sure) to add you and your family(s) to their prayers since I heard of your trip back to SLC.

I pray that God be BIG in the midst of that hospital room, and big in your hearts.

My heart, and thoughts, and prayers, are with you ... know that!

    Hugs for now ~

Please know lots of prayers are being lifted up for your precious Serenity. I pray that God will breathe life into this beautiful child, cradle her in his sweet embrace, and give her the strength to beat this!
