OK I did a nice long entry yesterday & managed to delete it before I saved it....ugh!!!

Anyway, Happy Sunday :)  We got back into town very late tuesday night.  The boys have been adjusting to the time change & the very, very HOT temps.  It has been 100+ each day that we have been home!  I am looking forward to our "much cooler" normal mid 90s ;)  Also on Wed night, Nick & I went to see Eric Clapton & Steve Winwood.  Nick won tickets on the radio.  It was such a great show!!!!!

We had a wonderful time in CA.  We started the trip by attending my nephew Ross's 8th grade graduation.  It was really nice to be there & celebrate with him.  Unfortunately we didn't get any photos b/c by the end of the ceremony it was freezing & we all ran to the car!!

After spending a few days playing with the cousins at my sister's house, Nick & I took the boys to my family's cabin in Arroyo Seco.  We spent 4 days there & loved every minute.  It was really special for me to share such a large part of my childhood with my family!  My Dad came down & hung out with us a few days down at the cabin.  He, Nick & the boys spent time lifting up rocks to look for crawdads & combing the base of the cliff for fossils.  They actually found some cool shell fossils & Michael brought them home :)  We had such a great time & are already planning to spend a whole week there next summer.

Nick went back to TX after the cabin & we headed back to Erin's house.  The girls were getting ready for their dance recital.  Between Raine, Reilly & Regan, they danced in something like 15 songs at the recital.  The boys enjoyed every minute of the 3 recital shows.  As long as I told them the name of the dance/song.  There was one song call "Poker Face".  Sean looked up at Erin & said "What's going to happen, are they going to poke her in the face?"......we about died laughing!!!!  The girls did fantastic in their dance recital & I was really happy that the boys & I were there to watch them :)

On Father's Day my Dad came down & picked us up from Erin's house.  We had a nice lunch with my Dad, Candy & my Grandpa.  My Grandpa Agnew will be turning 95 next week & is such a sweet heart.  I really enjoyed spending some time with him & giving him a great big hug!!

We spent the next 2 nights at Lew & Kate's house (thanks again you two!) & they took us to the Monterey Bay Aquarium on our last day in CA.  It was really fun & the boys loved everything.  It is such a cool aquarium & I always love going back.

All in all, we had a great trip.  The boys are great travelers & just went with the flow :)  We are happy to be home & the boys are loving the pool.  Sean is now officially a swimmer.  He could basically swim after his lessons in May, but he was afraid of the deep end & thought he needed a floatie.  A few days ago that all changed & now he is too cute & really fun to watch in the pool :)  Have a wonderful week!
