Good evening

Scott has had a busy week; well, we all have. Bless all you visitors and volunteers. We are working out what Scott needs between the awesome Horizon House staff and the awesome Providence Hospice staff. Most of you who have been there to visit went home assured Scott is well taken care of. Thank you. Needlesstosay, there are a lot of issues, but each day we make adjustments.

Brooks and I started school and truth be told, we are a little tired and overwhelmed, but tomorrow is Friday. We are covered for water up in the room (oh my gosh, thank you to the Stacks) – so no more needed there. I’d like to say Bailee started school, but, maybe God wanted her to go visit Scott this week, as her district is on strike. Being a teacher, who has been on strike, I probably should pass on commenting. J

Special shout out today to Jim Kubacki, our Eastside Catholic School President. On the biggest day of our school history, in front of hundreds of people at our school dedication on Tuesday, he acknowledged Brooks and I, as members of our community, and ask for a moment of silent prayer for our family. I was astounded. I really cannot put that into words, except to say, that is the type of people I work with. Jim met Scott years ago; I remember it. They met and talked about how suites/fields should look, and analyzed models, before Qwest Field was built, or ECS was built. Jim is also a parent; he knows. Bless you, Jim, and all of our ECS friends – from the Senior gridiron families to the teachers, the administrators, the PFSA, and assistants in the trenches, for your part in our journey. You look after Brooks and I in a very special way. Bless you all.

So, Pirate has been to Horizon House! I’ll load up a picture soon. Bailee and Jess had the honors, and, I understand Pirate was the hit of the day.

Thank you all for bringing pics when you come; special thanks to Tim, from Hawaii, and Heather, for her extra work to make my load lighter.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28

Go Huskies, Go Seahawks, and Go with God.

Love, Ronda
