My Story

Scott Neathery, age 35 was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia on September 1, 2006. He has decided that every day when we wake up that we make a choice to be a winner or a loser. Each day Scott chooses to win this battle. Please pray for us on this journey! Be sure to read the latest in the journal, view the photo gallery, and drop us a line in the guestbook.

We heard from MD Anderson yesterday that two of Scott's tests were negative and his PCR was less than .01. I think this means that Scott is in remission. We are very excited and feel very blessed. Scott will continue to see Dr. Baltz in Little Rock once a month for blood work and a check up. Scott also asked to have his bone marrow tested in Little Rock from now on and Dr. Verstovsek said o.k. He will see Dr. Baltz every six months for this. The Neathery family is blessed. Thank you for your prayers!
