Yesterday's doctor's appointment could not have been any better! Dr. Steffans stated everything looked great and was very pleased with the amount of weight I had gained since last seeing him. I am hovering just below 150 pounds, which is up almost 29 pounds from my lowest weight in 2008 of 121 pounds. For those of you that have known me for a while, you know I hadn't seen 121 pounds in a mighty long time. He released me to return to work effective yesterday, but as you may already know, I have no job at Wachovia to return to as my position was eliminated back in August 2008 while battling cancer. However, being the eternal optimist that I am, I know there is something else waiting for me out there. I would really love to stay in the banking industry with Wells Fargo, but the dust is still settling on their acquisition of Wachovia and decisions are still being made daily with that integration. I may explore something in HR at the new BIO TECH campus in nearby Kannapolis. There is a hospital facility being constructed about 7 miles from us right off of I-485 that I may explore as well. God will see us through this hurdle. He has never let us down and He never will! With all of our love to everyone! Thank you for your continued prayers, thoughts, and well wishes!
