CaringBridge Is Funded by People Like You
Honor Scott with a tax-deductible contribution to CaringBridge today.
I know so many want to know what happened to Scott on Sunday afternoon. Sue gave me permission to include the story and communicate to everyone what happened.
Around 3:30 Scott came inside from doing some yard work with severe chest pains. He and Sue headed to Methodist West. Scott's chest pains subsided and he said he'd wait til Monday and go to the doctor. They stopped at Walgreen's and Sue went in to buy some Aspirin for Scott and meanwhile, he came into the store indicating the chest pains were back and that he was feeling like he was going to pass out. He started vomiting and they were on their way to the hospital again. Unfortunately, by the time they got Scott into the ER his breathing had stopped and they were unable to revive him.
The Cahill's are so blessed with such caring friends in our community and the overwhelming response to the meal sign up shows this. I know the meal sign up is full at this time. I am checking with Sue to see if she would like to extend it through the summer. Otherwise, for those that are still interested you could double up and go in on a meal with someone else that has signed up. Otherwise, your prayers of support are immensely appreciated.
There may be other needs coming up as Emily has her 8th grade graduation from St. Francis May 29th and Cassi has her Dowling Catholic High School Graduation May 24th, and her Graduation party scheduled shortly after that.
Your messages to the family will be most cherished and give them strength from all the love they'll feel from everyone.
Please pass the website onto anyone who knows the Cahill family.
I will also post funeral arrangements as I am made aware of them.
