Just a quick note to thank Justin and Mark for their trip down to Red Wing yesterday. They checked out the roof and trimmed up a couple of branches, but most importantly Scott loved seeing them. I know how much it meant to him because of how much he missed them after they left. It was one of the rare times that Scott has been really sad. But our good neighbors Leonard and Dorothy came to the rescue without even knowing it. They visited with us in the back yard and were so positive, supporting, and upbeat Scott could not help but feel better. It completely changed his mood! I am so grateful to all the people who help us everyday - past, present, and future - in so many ways. My sister and her husband are coming this weekend for the big help - unpacking all the boxes everyone helped me bring down from Minnetonka. She calls it a good housecleaning but I imagine one of those TV shows where all your belongings are out in the yard on a big blue tarp and they say you can bring only five things back into the house. My mother was and my sister is great at this. Scott and I tend to hold on to everything our hands have ever touched - meaningful. I am going to concentrate on how clutter free things will be when it is over. And, yes - I will probably have a dumpster delivered. Wish us all luck! Scott's therapies have been going really well! He wants to stand up anywhere and everywhere. He just beams when he is taller than me. He wants to do it alone, but that is just not safe right now. I know in time it will be if Scott can wait that long:) Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them. Romans 12:6 Thanks and love, Scott and Terri
