Our week ended a little more positive than it began. We had a wonderful, busy Saturday and that helped us forget about all our medical and other issues. Bridger had a classmate's birthday party and then we all headed ice skating for a couple of hours. After that Terry took the kids swimming at our gym so I could have some free time. Then in the evening Makenna, Bridger and I headed to a local production of "Oliver."

Oh, and the best weekend news...Terry was able to juggle things at work and we will still be able to go on a little family trip the first week of August--our destination has changed, though, (we can't go as far) but we'll still have fun. Looks like we'll be heading to Myrtle Beach for a few days. The kids are so excited.

Still frustrated with the dermatologists in this area. I was on the phone 2 hours one day this past week trying to get Bridger an appointment. Every single one said the next available appointment is next year--January or February!!! Can you believe it?! During one of my final calls for the day, I found one office that had a cancellation. They said they could see Bridger in November! That's better than Jan. or Feb. but it's still to far away. Still waiting to hear back from the pediatrician to see if she can get Bridger in earlier than November. I’ll be back on the phone tomorrow. Ugh!

A couple of days ago when I was tucking Bridger into bed, he said, "You did say that everyone is going to pray for me because I don't want to be bald?" Sad. We’re trying to keep a positive attitude about all of this. I know the Lord is mindful of us so we are just trusting in Him at this point. Hopefully, Bridger can be seen soon so we can get a clear diagnosis and get on with treatment.

Other than the late night escapades (I blame it on the steroids) Sawyer is doing well. He had his last steroid pill (for this 3 weeks) last night so maybe we'll be able to get some sleep around here.

Thanks for checking in on us! We appreciate your thoughts and concerns.
