It is time to close the journal. There are many things to share, many people to thank. The overwhelming acts of kindness and generosity shown our family since January have touched our hearts more than I can describe.

Lukemia and Lymphoma Society

Sara was fierce in her battle with leukemia and every effort that is made to support research would be her passion. She would be so proud of the nearly $40,000 raised in Relay for Life.

She cared deeply for those less fortunate or facing some of life's harshest circumstances. She was well aware that not everyone lived secure in the love of their family and their ability to provide for her.

Sara's memory was honored at When the Whistle Blows, a service at Georgia Tech to honor students, faculty and staff who died during the past year

Graduation, May 3, 2008

The President and Faculty of Georgia Institute of Technology awared Sara the degree of Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering.

Not enough can be said. School and Georgia Tech were very good medicine.

Sara was the writer. She'd share this with you in a way that would have you clapping your hands, jumping for joy, crying in amazement and doing the happy dance.

This entry will stay posted for a few days so this happy news can be shared by all who have read and followed the story and were in the fight with her.

Thank you for keeping the faith with us.
