What a day! Sarah went in for chemo this morning. Then, the doctor ordered a chest X-ray because she sounded like she had fluid in her lungs. Fortunately, she does not and everything is fine. Sarah's blood counts are:

WB 1.4

platelets: 119

Hgb 8.6

ANC 1211

Weight 12.1 kg

These counts are okay, but not great. We will go back in on Monday to have her checked again. If her red blood counts drops any, she will need a transfusion.

She doesn't feel well today, and the added shuffle of going to many different offices was stressful.

We ran into Janelle, who is in our home group, at lunch and that brightened our day:) I didn't realized how stressed out I was until Janelle said, "how are you?" and I started tearing up. God bless Janelle! She bought my lunch and ate with us. I am constantly amazed how God uses His church to meet us in times of need.

We finally got home around 2:30. Sarah is lying in bed because we missed that "magic" hour of being tired and not over tired. Ethan is doing some practice sheets for school. He looks as tired as I feel.

Now Sarah is up and the two of them are playing. Early bed times for all tonight!

Yesterday Mike Reno (who works for Greg)gave Sarah a Dora the Explorer pony rider (remember the old spring horses that you rode?) and gave Ethan a Hot Wheels race track set. Greg brought them home late last night and I hid them in the closet this morning. Well, so much for hiding them! The kids just found them and it feels like Christmas around here! Now I suppose we will spend the afternoon putting them together and enjoying the new toys! Thanks Mike and family!

Addition: The kids are loving the new toys! I put pictures of them playing on the photo link.
