Sarah and Matt,
We are delighted to learn of your good news! This has been a difficult ordeal for the two of you and your families! I do believe, that you are both extremely strong and brave people and that you will conquer this challenge. Please know that we will both be holding all three of you in our thoughts and prayers in the months to come! Please keep us posted on your progress.

I am in awe of your grace and love for each other. I look at my own husband differently after reading your entries over the past 6 months. I look at my own children and my life differently because of what you have shared. I thank you for that. No one knows how much time any of us have, and I am so confident that you have left your imprint on this world, on your family, and on all those who have had the pleasure of knowing you, be it in person or through your words. There are many people that live 8 or 9 decades who cannot know that. I wish you peace at this time, more moments that can be weaved into memories.
We will continue to pray for you throughout our days.

I'm sorry that I have not been as frequent of a writer to you as my heart demands. It is times like these that we question our abilities to cope, to be strong, to provide support, to be the person that people need us to be. Just know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers every waking moment (and moments that I shouldn't be awake). I reflect upon the time I learned about my father's cancer. They told us there was no hope of recovery and our time was short. But yet, he stands to share a second Christmas with us. I reflect on how shattering the reality felt, but yet, he is still the father and Grandfather that we need him to be. Finally, I reflect at the end of each day, as Warren does, have I done enough? Can I do enough? Will I be enough?
What I've learned is that your strength will not fail you. Your faith will not fail you. Your love will not fail you. Your friends will not fail you. We can and will be what you need us to be!

I have been at my wife's side while she has undergone two very serious surgeries - kidney and open heart. In some ways, I know of your pain. What I tried to keep in mind was that her healing began with her diagnosis and each step however difficult taken thereafter.
I see you are standing in a grove of hardwoods and softwoods. If you travel a short distance through this forest, you will find yourself in a beautiful pine tree forest. Each bough is blanketed in beautiful brilliant white crystals - each uniquely crafted and delivered from above. If you look through this diary you may see some of these crystals.

Hi Sarah and family, Just a little note to let you know you remain in my thoughts and prayers. Goodbye hair, goodbye cancer. This beast has no idea what he is messing with, so buh bye, so long, arrivederci, sayonara, and adios. Hello season of love and light, hello new year of health and well-being!
