Hello everyone, Been a while and I thought I would update everyone. On 5/20 Sarah had another MRI and thank the Lord it is all clear still with no signs of returning. So we wait another 3 months till the next one. No trips to Childrens till the end of August, YEA!! We have scheduled a surgery to correct her facial droop over Christmas break. Hopefully this will return her full smile. They will take a small muscle, nerve , and artery out of her upper thigh and make a face lift incision and connect. It won't cut her chances as a track star at all. Her smile isn't that big of a deal right now considering what she has been through. It probably will be when she becomes a teenager. So, we will tackle it now. Pretty amazing stuff! This surgeon pioneered this 20-30 years ago and was involved with the lady who had the face transplant months ago.
  Other than that she has been getting better every day and lots of physical therapy has been helping alot. We are taking off soon for our first big camping trip in 2 years for 2 weeks and looking forward to a fun summer with no poison going in but going out. Its amazing how long it takes to get rid of chemo affects. God Bless and have a great summer!! The Petersons
