Throwers, just stopping by to give you my love. You are all in my prayers every single day. I hope you feel his presence in your hearts. I feel the presence of loved ones in heaven as a physical feeling in my heart. It's like they come and dance there for a while when I think of them. Hugs to all of you.

Throwers: We love you and we missed all of you. We paid tribute to Sam in our own small private way with a little picture on the posts of the platform so he sailed with us. It's hard to know what to say. I hope you hold tight to one another thru the stormy feelings that surely come. And share any peace you feel, with one another. I have a theory that there are a finite number of tears that must be shed when grieving to get to a place of peace. Don't hold back; Let them out. If you are panicked with sadness remember that you'll feel better in an hour or two. And when you're ready, it is impossible to feel depressed while dancing with your family to the B-52s. I love you.

The ceremony was beautiful. It was a lovely memorial for a truly wonderful young man. The tribute by Uncle Mike reminded us of so many activities with Sam and Nathan. Words cannot begin to express our sorrow at your family's loss. Sam was fortunate to have such extraordinary parents and we were fortunate to know Sam. The bagpipe rendition of Amazing Grace has always raised goose bumps. During this service, it brought me to tears. Dr. Y was amazing. The reverence I have felt for this song on the pipes will now include my love for Sam. The road ahead is slow and painful. But your family should know that friends and family are all around. We love you and you are all in our thoughts.

Last night was a perfect way to celebrate the life of an exceptional young man. Although I did not have the honor of knowing Sam; I have, however, been blessed having his father as my doctor.

I will continue to pray for you, Karen, Stephanie and Nathan.

I, too, know the beautiful lone white flower was a sign from your precious son Sam to comfort each of you.

May God's love and peace be with each of you as you begin this journey and find what will become your new normal.

Design I found a dimpled spider, fat and white, On a white heal-all, holding up a moth Like a white piece of rigid satin cloth -- Assorted characters of death and blight Mixed ready to begin the morning right, Like the ingredients of a witches' broth -- A snow-drop spider, a flower like a froth, And dead wings carried like a paper kite. What had that flower to do with being white, The wayside blue and innocent heal-all? What brought the kindred spider to that height, Then steered the white moth thither in the night? What but design of darkness to appall?-- If design govern in a thing so small. Robert Frost "What but design of darkness to appall?" It is impossible for me to understand why a loving God would cause Sam's death, the death of any innocent child. But faith prevents me from despair at God's design. Sam lives in light and wonder, eternal peace, and everlasting life.

My heart and love is with You and your Wife and daughters this day.  I kept up with Sam's health  journey through Caring Bridge.  I never met Sam, but I feel as If I had always known him.  I do know that now, Sam is happy, in full health, and is in the place we all hope to be one day.  Sam is getting to see Jesus, face to face.  Wow!      What a brave strong fight Sam went through, and he knew exactly when to say, I have fought the good fight, and I am ready to go to my Eternal Home!  Dr. Thrower, through your daily journal entries, I have learned so much.  We ALL go through trials on this earth, and The Lord is with us in the midst of our trials.   I am thankful I have A Doctor such as you who has much knowledge and experience in this disease called MS.  I know that you  give God the Glory.  Praises and Honor and  Glory to The Lord God Almighty!  May our Lord give you His Strength  to help you and your family through the difficult days, and years as you adjust to Sam's Passing!  Memories are a most wonderful gift the Lord gives us, and I know you have many wonderful memories in which to draw!  I am the only living member of my immediate family.  My mom, dad, brother and sister are all gone, but I have such great memories.  It was difficult at first, but now I can draw on my memories and find great JOY!!!!   May It be so with You!   The Heaven's and Earth are full of The Glory of The Lord!

Words cannot even begin to express our sorrow. Sam was Lior's best friend for a long time. They always had what to talk and laugh about, even in a short ride from school home. I loved to hear their conversations that always showed knowledge and happiness of two kids. This friendship was always there even when Sam got sick. Through the whole journey, they continued to meet, talk, play and laugh together. Sam was in our hearts, thoughts, and a huge part of our life...and will remain there forever. A huge hug from all of us.

SInce 2/14/2014 when I was in for a follow up and as a Oncology Nurse you shared with me and my husband Sam's story.  Our hearts have been heavy for you all and know that you are prayed for daily since we learned of Sam's illness. We will continue to keep you all in our prayers and rejoice that Sam is having fun in heaven no more tired ill body but whole again. Thoughts and prayers continuously  Lawanna and Rick Beyer

Dr. and Mrs. Thrower and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. The Bible says, "To be absent in the body, is to be present with the Lord," so we know exactly where Sam is. It also says that there is great rejoicing in Heaven at the death of a child of GOD. Why? Because the body dies, but the spirit lives on forever. We are sad because Sam is no longer with us, but we rejoice with Heaven and all the Angels that he is safe in the arms of Jesus.

While we cry with you and pray for you all, we also rejoice at the fact that Sam is completely healed, safe with Jesus in Heaven, where neither pain nor worry nor trouble nor sadness exist.  As Jesus said in John 11:25-26, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die."  Though I know you miss Sam greatly, it's not goodbye.  It's see you later, thanks be to Jesus Christ.  Sam lives more fully than any of us here on this fallen and broken planet, and though we weren't blessed to know him here, we look forward to your introducing us one day in Heaven.  Ben and Karen, I also give thanks for your strong faith, and pray that God will comfort and sustain you, Nathan and Stephanie and allow your faith to continue impact others for the Kingdom.
