Grandma Judy had her Mastectomy yesterday and is doing AMAZING!!  she is doing so well that I brought her home this morning.....23 hour marathon!! Boo and I have been tag teaming it the last few days and Aunt Julie is coming to stay for the week . My mom was on alot of pain meds yesterday but not enough to tell me "were is all the money hidden???". Julie promised me she would work on things this week.....FYI if Julie and I disappear on a month long European cruise its a safe bet WE FOUND IT!!!  All kidding aside my mom has been a trooper...positive attitude and glass half full all the way.       Sammie is doing really well. She graduated 5th grade and looked beautiful in her new dress. The 5th grade karigon class gave us a check to pay forward to the AMC childrens hospital to help other children like Sammie. Whats incredible about this is that it was their money to "decide what to do". They decided to help others . God knows they were an incredible support to our family and we are truelly grateful. Great job Karigon kids....I am sure your family is so proud!!   Sammies softball team has been on the "winning train" this year. They just won the  state title for ASA10 & under.  Sammie was so excited she stopped @ my job on her way home to show me the "hardware". I couldn't help but reflect on how far we have come from last summer. We are heading to Wildwood for a few days...our first family summer vacation EVER!!  We are staying positive for good weather and looking forward to fireworks on the 4th.  Before we head out Sammie will have a PET scan Wed. morn.  Tonight Sammie is not allowed to eat carbs or concentrated sugar after 5pm. She is a good italian girl and LOVES carbs....usually starts to get ugly around 9pm.....pray for me!!   Forever "in It 2 Win It" and truelly grateful for all of you!!
