I guess I will always have a special place in my heart for your beautiful daughter, Sammie.  She touched me so.  Her smile brought instant happiness.  I hope you and your family are doing well.  You were so very brave and such a wonderful mother for you daughter.  God bless you all.

I have been thinking about your family and your precious Sammie today. I just want you to know that she will not be forgotten by me ever. My son Evan continues to live with no evidence of disease. He is now sixteen. I think about how Sammie should be here, getting ready to apply to colleges, etc. as I am sure you do. I will continue to try to spread awareness and to promote funding going to childhood cancers until a cure is found. I will do this to honor that precious girl of yours. Her spirit is imbedded in my soul. She had quite an impact on so many in her short little life. I don't know if you have noticed how much more media has been a part of children's cancer journey's these days, but I like to thank Sammie as being one of the first to capture the public's hearts. Her livestrong page, and her fighting spirit touched so many people. Your raw and honest posts paved the way for people to reach out for support and to tell the ugly truth about losing a child to cancer. I hope your family continues to heal together and that you all know how much the world loved and cared about all of you and your girl. We still do.

I am thinking of Sammie today.  This summer our family visited Disney and of course I couldn't help think of Sammie :) I hope your family is doing well.  One day at a time.  You are forever is our hearts and prayers (even though it has been ages since I left a message on your CB site). xox My daughterCharli (now 5) has been in remission for 2 years.  I will never forget our journey and the amazingfamilies like yours who we connected  with through Caring Bridge.  Sending best wishes from the Cayman Islands, Sabrina Foster and family xoxo

I was thinking of your Angel Sammie today...she'll be in my heart forever!  Her courage, strength and bright smile are an inspiration to many!  I learned of Sammie's story through a friend whose son was sick at the same time.  I trust that Sammie is safe in God's heavenly kingdom free from the struggles of this world!  May God's love continue to comfort her family and friends with strength for the journey and hope in the future of our resurrection life in heaven!

Sweet ones,

Just a quick not to let you know I continue to think of ^^Sammie^^ often, especially in the past couple of days.  I'm not sure why the feelings are so intense except maybe I'm supposed to stop by her CB page and let you know I continue to pray for all of you.  ^^Sammie^^ was one of my 'Sunshine Girls' and I'm so grateful and humbled to have had the opportunity to serve as her prayer warrior through the former Angel_Wings Prayer Warriors group.

I know without a shadow of a doubt ^^Sammie's^^ amazing legacy continues to manifest itself in the hearts and minds of those folks she came into contact with, whether at home or far away, stranger or friend.

Love, Hugs and Prayers to each of you.

As ever,
