See the new photo of Sam and Caren- It is hard to believe that we are almost 3 years post transplant this September.  We are heading back for our last check up with Dr. Boulad in mid May.  Thankfully- all appears to be well and Sam is living a terrific quality of life.  He maintains a great sense of humor, is an avid computer user and gamer and is doing unbelievably well in school.  He is off to camp this summer and planning on spending some quality time in NJ. 

While there is never a day we take for granted you do tend to look forward and see how lucky we are.  Reserach still has a long way to go and we are all active in numerous organizations in raising money and helping.  It seems the transplant has allowed us all to find ourselves and our own paths.  Caren is off to help famiies with cancer and chronic illness- Judy is working and making sure the kids are ok on a day to day basis, Sam is just Sam and I have been allowed to stretch my wings at work and run my advertising agency. 

As I always remind my kids- these are the good times- let's not forget them- enjoy them because you never know what is around the corner.  We must live for today and enjoy it.  Hope you are doing the same.
