I cannot imagine the aches in your hearts as you face the future without precious Sadie.  And yet the Bible tells us that in heaven, the time we spend here on earth is like the blinking of an eye- we will have eternity to embrace the loved ones who have gone on before us.  I know that you believe that- and yet I know you must be hurting in a way many people never understand.

During the times in my life that I didn't understand why I was going through a certain thing, I remember that God has it all under control.  Sadie did more in her 9 years than many people do in 8-9 times that long... she showed thousands of people what it is like to face adversity with grace and dignity.

I don't know y'all, but am one of your Aunt Linda's friends-  I look forward to meeting all of you one day in the glories of Heaven. <3

Hi Sadie!
You are a superstar!! I always check Facebook just to see you. Stay positive and know that I am thinking about you and praying for you! I wonder if you like to draw or paint or do art of any kind? I'm an artist and would love to paint something for you...tell me what? My name is shelley and I live in Magnolia, close to your house. Give me your request!!

Sadie, So often you come to my mind and prayers are lifted up for complete healing for you, sweet girl. Our summer is nearly gone with the hot, hot September days giving way to cooler temperatures.  Our two dogs, Sherman and Radar, are happy for the cooler weather but are sad today because we are getting some much needed rain and they are stuck in the house! Love and prayers to you and your family. This is being sent from Rockford, Illinois.

Sadie has touched so many people's lives. I'm in awe of the 28K 'likes' from people who are praying for her. I think of all that your entire/extended family has been through this year, and know God has a plan, though I struggle to understand Him at times. I just have to have faith. I'm so glad that Sadie was at least able to 'try' the chemo and radiation after surgery.

You're right- GBM is horrible. I used to work adult neurology as an RN, and saw the devastation of the whole family... and especially the one with the diagnosis.

You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hey Sadie! Greetings from Rockford, Illinois, where we are experiencing a thunderstorm this morning. We are having rain all week but that's just fine because we need it after a year of very dry weather.  The only problem with the rain is our two soft-coated wheaten terriers are house-bound and how they love to go out in the back yard and chase along the fence but not in the rain! So now they are here with me just napping as I write you.

I'm so sorry to hear that your blood is doing flips and flops.  Hopefully the doctors will get everything smoothed out for you.  It must be so difficult for you to go thru this treatment but so many prayers are going up for you and your family.  Every day is one more step toward good health for you.

Keep sparkling, Sadie, even though you may not feel like it right now. Prayers for you and your family.  Barbara Shaver
