Things seems to be rolling along good right now. Ashtyn received a Huggable Hero award from Build a Bear. I nominated her for the award for her work collecting Pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. It was really cool because she was interviewed for the Pea Ridge Times and was on the front page last week. She was a Semi-finalist and received her price and certificate today in the mail. It looks like we have a trip to Build a Bear in the future. April is gone and May has started and life rolls along. There is not a day that goes by that we all don't think of and miss Ryan. We know that he is all around. As Spring arrives, so do the Butterflies. Each time you see a Butterflies, Ryan is passing through to see what you are doing and then he will be off. One of the things that we have been working on was the Ryan Mondy D.A.S.H. Memorial Scholarship. Last week, the first person that will recieve it was selected. As soon as we have the paperwork complete, I will be able to let everyone know and it will be in a few Newspapers around Arkansas. It was very difficult because I read each of their stories and it brought back a lot of memories. I know that it makes me stronger each time I have to face a situation like that. We are working on a race to be held in the fall if we can. I like the name A D.A.S.H. to remember and all the money raised would go to the Scholarship so we can give more away next year. It is a long way away but as fast as time has been going, it will be here before we know it. Keep us in mind and thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I gave a speech last week in my class that I have been taking and the topic was Stress. I won an award for it voted on by the class. It was simply this, when you have done all that you can do, turn your burdens over to God and Pray about it. If I can't fix it, Pray about it. If you do that, you will have peace of Mind, Body, and Soul. You will start counting the Blessing God has given to you rather than the trouble you have. God bless you all. More updates later.
