Sorry, I haven't done so well in the last week with keeping up with Ryan's progress on his site. I didn't have much access to a computer during the day and when I got home each night I was exhausted. Ryan was moved into Rehab early last week and continued with his therapies on a daily basis on Tuesday they took away the wheelchair and said he was steady enough on his feet to walk and get out of bed with supervision. Ryan continued to do well throughout the week, so we were able to take him home on Saturday for an overnight, he had to be back at the hospital on Sunday evening. He did really well at home in his own elements, he slept a lot and ate some good meals. He was excited not to have to eat hospital food for a little while. Tuesday 2/5, we had a meeting with his doctor and therapist, they all gave him good marks so, I was able to take him home on Wednesday 2/6. Ryan will be doing Occupational and Speech Therapy 3 times a week until he gets the green light to be able to go back to school and work. Ryan still needs a lot of rest while his brain and body continue to heal. Lexi, is doing well, she is working really hard with her therapist, we are hoping to see her go home here soon also. Ryan will be making trips to the hospital to visit her to keep her spirits up and continue to give her support. Thanks to everyone who has visited Ryan's site and for all the prayers and well wishes.
