Well, Buggy's party was a smashing success! We had lots of friends and food! A special thanks to my husband for working so hard and then coming home and cooking for everyone!
I will post some pics on MySpace. CB has limited space. They all didn't come out; there was this funky streak/darkness going on. The beautiful Sun was shining thru and my camera wasn't sure what to do!
Rutger was so cute. I don't think he realized it was all for him. He had so much fun b/c everyone was here. He ate and ate.It was time for cake & presents (he didn't once want a gift until we actually started handing them to him!).
He was singing 'Happy Birthday' and looked around for a cue on '...Dear _______'. When we broke out w/ 'Rutger' he smiled SOOO BIG!
Then, it was present time. Oh, my! He was so excited b/c they were 'all for him'.
I believe he now has about 50 cars. He thinks he could always use more, though!
I'd like to thank everyone who came by to celebrate w/ us.
Every one who has prayed, who has given me hugs and asked how I was doing when he was going thru his sickness.
I am so glad this chemo is over. There are other medical things to watch for and we will tackle those when they come.
