We recieved some really great news on Friday when we met with Dr. Clair Mazewski. The spinal tap was negative and showed no signs of the remaining tumor movement to that area. It goes without saying how important that news is to his treatments going forward. Other great news is that his Chemotherapy treatments will not start until Monday the 19th. This will allow him some time to get stronger and feel better before it starts. The time will also allow Russell to attend his 8th grade social next Friday which he was looking forward to. He will have some home schooling before the school year ends. Dr. Clair also cleared him to get back on the bike this week as well. I've updated his picture which includes a picture of his first ride back on the bike; he hasn't lost his sense of humor. He will go to his first bike practice this Monday. All activities are based on how he feels of course. He and his sister Nicole had a great time in Chattanooga celebrating with members of his Frazier team who just completed a ride 142 mile ride from Cumming to Chattanooga. Five of these juniors age 12 -15 completed the whole ride. Amazing accomplishment! Tonight it's rocking out with Van Halen so the party continues.
