Wow, it sounds like it was a beautiful service.  If I didn't live in KS, I would have gone.  I went to Edenton St. for a few years when I lived in Raleigh, and I remember the day you and Roxanne joined the church.  You both looked so happy--I think you had just gotten engaged.  I know that must have been so hard to to say goodbye to her in the same spot where you had so many happy memories.  Your idea of a special memory box for Carson is a great one.  I know that will mean a lot to him.  He was lucky to have such a wonderful mother, and even luckier to have such a great dad who will keep his mommy's memory alive forever.  I am still praying for all of you.

It was a beautiful Memorial for beautiful person. Thanks to everyone that was involved. Personally, it helped me deal with a the loss of Rox, which hit me a lot harder than I ever imagined. Chad, Carson and all of the families, please know you are in my prayers daily. We'll all get together soon.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.  Roxanne will be missed tremendously.  I will never understand why bad things happen to good people.  She is at peace now and in a better place.  Take Care.

    Chad, Carson & Family,

I am so sorry to hear about Roxanne's passing. Words could never express my sympathy. Roxanne is now in a better place and she will forever be with you all....watching over you as she is your angel!  I remember the day that Charlie and I were at the pool and had met you & Roxanne. She seemed to be so happy and so full of life and that is what sticks in my mind when I think of her....as well as how excited she was to be a mother and was such a proud mother at that.  You two guys were the love of her life! She was so proud to call you her husband and Carson brought out a certain sense of joy and happiness that no other could bring.  You two were her life! Just as you feel like the luckies to have been her life, she was just as lucky to have you two! Let the memories, laughter, & love live forever.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you for now and for ever!

Roxanne and I enjoyed many years together as the closest of friends. I will always treasure that time in my life. Although we drifted apart later, she and I have a bond that I will carry in my heart forever. I saw her awhile back, but the person I knew was no longer there.

She did appreciate her close, loving family and knew that not all of us get to have that in our lives. When we talked of what we wanted "when we grew up", she, most of all, wanted to meet a wonderful man, get married, and have a family of her own. I am so happy that she did that.

It would be my gift to Roxanne to one day be able to share my memories of her with Carson. It breaks my heart to think that he'll miss out on how wonderful and loving his mother really was.

I look forward to reuniting with some of her Raleigh friends at a memorial here. To her family, I want to say I am truly sorry that Roxanne's life was cut much too short. But you must be so proud to know that she brought so much happiness to so many people's lives. I am just one person who is changed forever for knowing her and in missing her.

    Much love and sympathy,
    Leigh (Correll) & John Welch

Chad, my condolences go out to you and to Roxanne's family. What a dfficult road you must have traveled. God has taken her home to be with Him now, and she will be that ray of sunshine you see in the mornings and the sunset in the evenings. God bless all of you.

    Dear Chad and Hudson Family:

I admire the strength and faith you have all shown during this difficult time.  Roxanne is at peace and will live forever in our hearts and memories.  Thank you for sharing her story and shedding light on this terrible disease, but also for sharing what family, and love, and caring is all about.  My heart goes out to all of you but I know God will carry you through now and in the future as He has in the past.

    To all of Roxanne's Family:

I believe with all my heart, because Roxanne believed with all her heart: Our girl is now back. The twinkle is in her eyes. The sweetness back in her voice. And all that amazing love and caring, back in her soul. She's marveling over the growth of her boy. She's amazed by the care her parents and siblings gave to her so freely over the last year. She's proudly watching over her handsome husband and his loving hands that now guide their son.  Her time is done here, but God in Heaven has restored all the loveliness that is our Roxanne and she's sitting with Jesus this morning watching us all.

I wish for peace in the hearts of her loved ones. I'll keep you all in my prayers. Much love to you all.
