Rose's MRI of the brain and spine was on Friday in Boston and went very well. We had a conversation with the anesthesiologist prior to the procedure about the nausea and vomiting issues. The doctor said she had read all the notes from the previous procedures and felt that maybe Rose was having side effects from the anesthesia gas. So she gave her only 5 minutes of gas to put her to sleep, put the IV in and then switched to IV anesthesia using propofol. Rose was clearly nautious when she woke up from the MRI and she retched twice within 2 hours. But this is very little compared to what we have seen in the past (non-stop nausea and retching for 8 hours). We got to go home the same day :) I have to call back on Thursday to get the reading of the MRI from Rosie's neurologist.
Other than that, Rose is doing great. Lots and lots of energy.
