So....it's been a while. Dad went at the end of May for his repeat CT Scan. He's been doing well since he's been off chemo for the past 6 months. As a matter of fact, he's been able to control his diabetes without insulin for over a month! He loves not having to have shots everyday!

Today he met with his Oncologist to go over the CT results. We have good news!! His scans had no change! The "spot" that they saw in his lungs was gone!!!! His doctor told him that if the spot was still there, it would have been lung cancer as lymphoma typically doesn't spread to the lungs. What a blessing it was to know that it's GONE! And, the even BETTER news -- His oncologist said he didn't need to see Dad for 6 months! Dad will remain OFF chemo for at least 6 more months!! You can just imagine how happy he was at that news!! We are all rejoicing! Dad keeps feeling better and better the further he gets away from chemo! It is our prayer that he gets this break for much longer.

We hope you all have a Happy 4th of July! David and I are participating in the Peachtree Road Race and then having a cookout with Mom and Dad and the girls at their house afterwards. Thank you for all of your prayer support. It is definitely working. Our God is a MIGHTY GOD!!!
