Robert Eckhart's Journal
For those who wonder
Written Dec 2, 2013 12:14amI know that there are those of you who wonder how the boys and I are doing, and thought you might like to follow this. I hope to document our story as we travel down the road of change.
Written Jan 11, 2013 6:17pmToday my husband was laid to rest with the most beautiful funeral mass and burial service. My soul mate, my heart and my love is now in a better place.
It is so incredibly amazing how much impact my husband had on other people. He made friends wherever he went and was loved by many. There are so many memorial sites, eulogies, donations and kind words out there in honor of him, below is the newest that I have seen. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all that have supported us through this horrendously difficult time. I am overwhelmed at the generosity of everyone who loved him, but I cannot say that I am surprised. He was so easy to love.
"Only when you drink from the river of silence shall indeed you sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance."
I love you Robert Eckhart. I will do my utmost to continue to make you proud. I love you always and forever.barefootbobmemorial.com
