At this time Richelle does not have movement or feeling from her chest down.  She can move her hands and her fingers.  The Doctors have placed a "halo" around her, that has her neck secured in place.  They put a "traction"on her that actually pulls on the head and the spine to straighten it apart.  This is proving to work well and is doing what it is suppose to do.  They put her on anesthesia and because of everything, wanted to be safe, and therefore put her on a ventilator so that she can rest.  They are currently doing another MRI to make sure they know all of her injuries.  She is scheduled to be in surgery today to put screws into her spinal column to "set" her spine so that it cannot move.
Richelle was alert and talking to us while we were in there.  Please keep her in your prayers.  We know that God works miracles, and this can be done.

Psalm 6:2 "Be merciful to me Lord, for I am faint.  O Lord heal me for my bones are in agony, my soul in anguish."
