Richelle Heacock's Journal
Written Apr 5, 2010 11:09amBecause Richelle is no longer in Harborview, we are unsure as to how long this website will be allowed to stay up, so I have created a new blog that I will post updates about Richelle. You can find it at: http://richelleheacock.blogspot.com/
I will try and update this blog once every two weeks, but will be unable to update it as often as I did this page.
Thank you to everyone for all of your love and support.
Written Mar 15, 2010 11:51amAs you all know, Richelle is now at home in my parents gorgeous new home! A HUGE thank you to every volunteer who was part of this project. We are so thankful to each and every one of you. As Richelle is starting to get settled and our family is trying to learn the routine each day. Some days are harder than others, but this challenge will get easier as time progresses. I have had a lot of emails and phone calls asking when people can go visit Richelle. I am asking that everyone wait until this next weekend (March 20) to go visit. My mom is so overwhelmed with trying to get Richelle situated and into their routine, that I think giving them a little window of time would be best. Thank you to everyone for their understanding on this matter. I will try to keep this website updated once per week until it comes down. Again thank you to everyone for all of your love and support. Please use www.heacockfund.com for continued information on Richelle's fundraisers.
Written Mar 10, 2010 12:23pmTomorrow is the day! Richelle will be released from Harborview Medical Center tomorrow morning, and make the drive south to a big "Welcome Home" and we will all get to see the finished remodel on my parents house! There has been so much preperation go into this day, and we can't hardly believe that it is now upon us. THANK YOU ALL so much for everything that you have done in support of my sister and entire family. Richelle is an amazing person who perseveres through every trial that comes her way. We are all so proud of the progress that Richelle has made and we are confident that the best is yet to come. Again thank you to everyone for all that you do. It touches our hearts in a way that we will never be able to explain. We are forever grateful!
