Dear friends,
You continue to bless me in so many ways and I have missed keeping you up on the sunny side of things. I was released for two months from any pokes, proddings or other painful doctor visits. With that good news the Lord put me back into my crazy, busy life. There is just enough work at Love INC, a few personal adventures and of course four active children, a married daughter and Kelly too- to keep me out of trouble. I know I'll never get it all done in this life so I just smile and sigh at the eight trips we recently made to the school in a single day and long for a more fuel efficient mode of transportation.
We also have not missed out on the current broad events plaguing our nation and our friends. Kelly has been given the opportunity to take a week off work every month, without pay of course, but I just know we will have an amazing garden and a very green lawn this year. I suppose it is an extension of my learning to trust that all things work for good to those who love God.
My hair is growing back and I find myself no longer cold at night. I have been told I look a little more adventurous by the unknowing driver's license checkers. Oh, if they only knew -WHAT an adventure. I do have a particularly troublesome cowlick. I have tried to push it down, resorting to hair gel. It mostly stays down, but I have realized it is so much like my own nature. No matter what I do, the old, natural me just wants to go its own way. It takes constant attention in order to go a new direction. Well, I'm still under construction, cowlicks and all.
May your day be full of joy, Renee
