Randi Renay is my 16 year old daughter who was dignosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in November 2006. She is a very strong and couragous young lady who I am very proud of She has been forced to think of death and her own mortality at a young age. I know she will beat this and go on to live a healthy and wonderful life. I am pround and glad that God chose me to be her mother.

Scans stated that the node in her chest has "slightly decreased' and the node in her neck has "moderately increased in size and uptake". Dr. Rytting could not feel the node upon examination, so he says that her scans are still not clean, but for now she is holding and it is stable. We will do another set of scans at the end of October or beginning of November and as long as those scans remain unchanged then he will see her every 6 months for a year. From there if scans stay the same or look better then he will have her come once a year. Dr. Rytting seems to think that maybe we are getting some false positives, but he is not sure, so we just continue to wait and watch her and see how things go. That was her visit in a nutshell.

Please continue to pray for her. Thanks to everyone who has been praying for her. I will post if and when things change or after our next Oncology visit in October.

Laurie
