I'm not sure what to type, I was praying for your family, and my oncologist saw me on TV when the news panned the TG crowd saying the rosary. I haven't met you. But I have a little miracle story to share. The day before this angel passed away, I saw my doctor. I had a rare side effect of long term chemo called osteonecrosis of the jaw. It was exposed bone, jagged, and there is no treatment. We figured that the breast cancer in my bones would kill me first, so we just ignored the jaw. Saturday morning, before I heard that Rachel passed away, my gums healed completely. Unheard of. There is no explanation, doctors and nurses are stumped. But I believe that some prayers for your angel were redirected... I am so very sorry for your loss. But I have faith that the spirit of this wonderful young woman will continue to live on to inspire the many lives of people she never even met. I feel blessed ~ I wanted to share that with you. Ah Yvette and Jaime, It is so hard to believe that this much time is passed!  I think about her everyday, so perhaps she is keeping me company and I'm not realizing how many days have gone by.  That rainbow is truly amazing, and just so Rachel to cover us with that beauty that evening.  Hugs to you all especially my pal Oscar!

Jamie - My mom, Micki Murn, just called to tell me about your amazing daughter.  I wish I had known earlier and I would have come to honor her and your whole family today.  What a supporting and loving community you have around you.  Please know you are in the prayers of the entire Murn family.

Rachel was such an amazing blessing and inspiration to so many people she never even knew.  Our daughter's 6th grade SJB basketball team took their motto from Rachel, "Every day is a gift!"  Know that there are so many lives touched and your family is remembered in many prayers.  God bless!

My heart is so sad that Rachel is no longer with us on earth.  However, she lives on in the lives of people she touched.  Every smile is a reflection of Rachel's beautiful outlook on life.  She has left an everlasting mark on all of us...a mark of courage, faith and kindness to all.

I was so sorry to hear of Rachel's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. She touched so many lives and can now rest in our Lord. May you feel the Lord's loving arms wrapped around you as you say goodbye to your beautiful girl.

Yvette and Jamie -

Our hearts ache right along with you as we try to rejoice for Rachel and understand that she has achieved the ultimate Victory.  How fitting that her final hours were spent amongst the community that she has touched in so many ways.  We are all better people because of Rachel.  We are amazed also by the grace the two of you have shown through this most difficult time.

Rachel's spirit will continue on in all of us and we will always think of her and smile when we see lime green.

Peace be with you....

Yvette and Jamie,

We are saddened to hear of the loss of Rachel.  All of the Regent Candrian's are keeping you in our thoughts, hearts and prayers.  There is comfort in knowing that her pain is over and that she and our heavenly father are watching over the two of you.

Heaven gained a beautiful angel....
