Here is the crab cake recipe for those adventerous souls out there. I will post an update after Christmas.

Crab Cakes with Old Bay Mayonnaise

Makes 8 large crab cakes

Crab cakes:

2 cups panko breadcrumbs, divided

¼ cup each minced red bell pepper, celery, red onion

2 tablespoons lemon juice

½ cup mayonnaise

2 large eggs

3 dashes Tabasco sauce

3 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped

½ teaspoon kosher salt

2 cups fresh crabmeat

¼ cup clarified butter

Old Bay mayonnaise:

1/3 cup mayonnaise

2 teaspoons lemon juice

½ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

In a bowl, combine 1 cup panko with the vegetables, lemon juice,
mayonnaise, eggs, Tabasco, parsley and salt. Mix thoroughly. Gently add
crabmeat. Form into patties and coat top and bottom with remaining

2. In a small bowl, combine the Old Bay mayonnaise ingredients. Chill until ready to use.

Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat and melt clarified butter. Saute
cakes on both sides until golden brown. Serve with Old Bay mayonnaise.
