On January 19th Nay nay's dad and i took her to the er because she seemed to have had a slight seizure. they did a ct scan and found a walnut sized tumor in the back of her brain...they sent us to the closest children's hospital which was in little rock where a surgeon took out the tumor...which was really just a little bit smaller than a baseball. they also did a mri and found four more tumors in her brain and two close to her tail bone. she was diagnosed with medulloblastoma a few days later, a type of childhood cancer that effects the brain and spine most times. the doctors say that over the next nine to twelve months nevaeh is going to have to have aggresive chemo along with at least three stem cell transplants...we know that her treatment is going to be hard on her and on us but we know that our God with never put on us anymore than we can bare, and i know that He will be with us in this every step of the way. our God is a very, very good God! we do ask that everyone help us in our journey by praying for our strength...it is going to be hard...we know this, but it is all worth it! thank you God for our miracle!!!
