Dear Mr. Ed,

It's hard to believe that it has been a year and a half since the accident. Much longer than i thought that it has been. Im find myself a little sad that you are going to discontinue Caring Bridge, I realy enjoyed talking with you and writing to you on this site. Now that it will probably be my last time writing to you on this site i find it hard to say how much I loved writing on it. Good luck,

Harrison Weber

Hi Ed,

Not sure if you will even get this as you may have already stopped checking. . .

I have been huge fan of the Slattery caringbridge page probably for the entire 18 months you have been posting.  And, sorry to say, have never posted.  Figured you were too busy to read all your postings.

I will so miss your postings, but hope to friend you on FB.

You are an amazing father and I applaud you for all you have done since the accident.  (I bet you were an amazing dad before the accident too!!)

Thank you for sharing your joys, sorrows, highs, and lows with so many.  I pray for you and your family and am amazed by the progress Matthew has made.  Keep up the good work Matthew!

All the best to an amazing family and hope to see/find you on FB!

With prayers and hope,
Karen Klonsky

Dear Ed,
I don't have a Facebook account and really don't want one.  Is there a way to read your entries without an account.  If not, I am sorry to lose track of your journey.  I have read with great admiration the dignity, compassion, and strength you have shown throughout.
All the Best,
Karen Klonsky

I have followed you for almost all of your journey, and have prayeed for continued healing in both boys as well as you in dealing with their injuries and the loss of your best friend and wife and the mothers of your children.  I do not do Facebook, so won't be able to follow you and yours, but will continue to pray for you all.  In Christ,  Lois Mader Spokane, WA
