Happy belated 4th to everyone! Hope everyone had a good 4th of July. We had a great time! We went and spent the day at Eric's brother and sister in law's house. The children got to play together and us adults got to visit. It was a good time.:)

We have been doing work inside and out of new home...staying very busy! But enjoying the finished product. We did a little landscaping outside and painting inside the house. It's nice to see improvement. We enjoy working outside as a family. We work together and get the job done! There's always much work to do with a home, but if you do it as a team, you get it finished sooner!

A month ago, I failed to mention we got a new addition to our family...DeDe. We adopted her from the animal shelter. She is a terrier mix. She is very energetic but we are having fun with her, she keeps us hopping!

We took a spur of the moment trip to go camping and had a very good time. It wasn't too hot and definitely not cold, but cool at night. We enjoyed watching the children slide down a huge rock into the creek...they had a blast. I'll post new pictures of them doing that. We had our camp fire and roasted marshmallows and made s'mores, and even made popcorn over the fire. We saw lots of deer waiting to be fed...they were more rampant than squirrels! The next day we took a little hike to the bottom of a mountain and then headed to visit another camp ground we thought we might want to camp at sometime. We had a very good time being together making memories.

Paul is doing well. The doctors visit to his endocrinologist went well, he is now in the 50% of his percentile and could possibly grow to be 6 ft. give or take a few inches! But since his mama is short, he may not make it to 6 ft...still a possibility. The doctor ordered a blood test and his results showed that his thyroid was very low, so the doctor increased his medication. This should help with some sdie effects. He is already excited about going to a new school this year. He wants to play the saxaphone in band and ride the bus to school. Sounds fun, huh?

Hope all is well with everyone. Have a great rest of the summer! "Continually praying for you."

luv,

the Raders
