Christmas Vespers Dedicated to the Life and Memory of Paul Gothard III
Lake Erie College is pleased to announce the return of Christmas Vespers on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 4:30 p.m. in the Morley Music Building. This year's concert will be dedicated to the life and memory of Professor Paul Gothard III.

Christmas Vespers is one of Lake Erie College's longest traditions dating back to the early 1900s. This year's concert will feature the Lake Erie College Student and Community Chorus, directed by Roberta Whitely; the Lake Erie College Flute Choir, directed by Judith Elias; College Organist Dr. Mark Bell; Associate Professor of Theater Dr. Jerry Jaffe; and student soloists.

Works by Adam, Bach, Paul Gothard III, Mathias, Rutter and other composers will be performed. LEC PSEO student Kenan Irish will play piano solo by Bach, and Karen Rauff '06 and LEC PSEO student Janay Beamer will play a duo with Irish. Dr. Jaffe and Connor McCarthy '15 will present readings. Dr. Bell will perform on the Skinner organ and join flautist Elias. Mary Ann Ratchko-Gamez, tin whistle, will collaborate with Whitely performing Celtic Christmas music. There will also be a traditional audience sing-along of favorite Christmas carols.

The concert is free and open to the community. The Morley Music Building is not handicap accessible. Additional parking is available at the First Church of Christ located at 422 Mentor Avenue, Painesville. For additional information, please call 440-375-7030.
