In December Patrick will have been on the national transplant list for two years. Patrick has been on dialysis everyday for 11 to 12 hours a day since march 2010, it keeps him going, he is doing well with his grades this year and has grown alot he is now 5 feet 4 inches he loves being taller than me and rubs it in all the time!!! We still pray everyday to find Patrick's Hero! Well Happy Holiday season to all!! Laura
Written Jul 28, 2010 7:49pmI know it has been a long time again since I have updated Patrick's Place. The days seem so short. Patrick is doing well. He is still on dialysis 12 hours a night every night. He has some problems with fast heart rates which makes him dizzy and nauseated in the morning when he is coming off dialysis. He also has some problems with blood pressure. The U of M is changing his medications to help that. We try to take life one day at a time. Good news, Patrick was contacted by Make a Wish. He wished for a pontoon and they brought him one on Tuesday. He smiled for 2 hours straight. We are going to take him fishing as much as we can. Patrick LOVES to fish. So a huge THANK YOU to Make A Wish for making Patrick's day so special. Cruisin' for Kids out of the Wadena Elks made this possilbe. God Bless You Guys!!!! Many, many heart felt Thank Yous to all that made this wish come true for Patrick! Will have pics soon!
