My Story

Monday, 03- 31-2008

And so it was in the beginning:

like many others, I had hoped (sounds like those on the Road to Emmaus, huh!) this would be a year of new beginnings! Much DID change in January, 2008...

Be it resolved! Doctor today used the words "complete remission"! Almost 1 year ago an "ear infection" led me into a massive change of direction - not only in health, but areas of vocation, social, residence, etc.

Each of you by just linking to this web page have helped me to take a step along on this bewildering journey of adjustment and acceptance. My utmost gratitude for you and to the Lord for the strength and grace to get thus far on the path!

As the "Dry Valley of Baca" is getting further behind me, I am "pressing on" this temple to gain stamina and get some muscle in something other than my soul!

Although my treatment plan was complicated, and quite sophisticated in technology, my thanks go out to those who were the seen and unseen - known only to God- "navigational assistants" lifting me up for restoration and renewal. I have been blessed by your connections! nsb
