Happy DAY! Cancer Gone AWAY! Met with Dr. today re: MRI from last week... he said it showed zero indicators in Lymph nodes, and although there appeared to be "a little something visible" in the original tumor area - he would be very surprised if it was anything active, and may, in fact, be "some residual" effect of the radiation --- believes we only need to monitor via scan in about every 3 months or so! YIPPEE! RE: the throat & swallowing difficulty and dry mouth He gave me a prescription that MIGHT help with the dry mouth - though takes about a month to kick in... reminded me that though I was doing very well and would only continue to heal, that I was still very early in the process - that it could take at least 6 months to have a "normal" mouth and throat.
