Olivia Nolley's Journal
Written Nov 3, 2010 8:28amAt 7:55 am this morning, Olivia went home to Jesus. Judy and Alicia, family and friends were there to pray her into God's Kingdom.
God is gracious and good. Pray for comfort, peace, and strength as we face each new day.
Written Nov 2, 2010 8:37pmOlivia had a challenging night last night, and a hard day today. Because she is unable to move, it is difficult for her to find a comfortable body position. Her inability to move and other health issues makes sleep intermittent and fitful for her. She awakes often in the night, which of course wakes us all.
We could all use some rest. Hospice gave her something today to help make her comfortable, and Dr. Rogers came by to check on her. Their efforts worked, because she is now sleeping.
Please pray for rest and peace and comfort for Olivia, Alicia, and me.
In the midst of all of this, God is on His throne, and He is good. I am resting in the strength that He provides every day. I am grateful for all of your prayers--going to God's throne on our behalf is truly the best thing you can do for us. I thank you for your prayers and your love.
Written Nov 1, 2010 10:27pmPlease forgive me if I seem to avoid people. I am tired of being strong and I am tired of talking and explaining. I ask that there are no phone calls or visits after 8 p.m. It becomes too disruptive when I am trying to get Alicia ready for bed, and Olivia to relax and sleep. I do feel your love and prayers.
