My Story

We want to introduce you to one of our favorite classmates, Olan Weaver. Olan is in 3rd grade at AE Phillips and is 9 years old. He likes riding four-wheelers with his brother, Dylan and dad, John. He also enjoys swimming in his pool with little sister, Anna and mom, Nikki. He also thinks it's pretty cool that his stepdad, Jason, races cars.

We have been busy getting ready for school and tryiong to figure out what would be the best for Olan. We decided to do homebound for awhile; we're hoping he can go back to school in Nov. His endurance level is still low and he doesn't want to go to school unitl his hair grows back. He will be working with a private teacher m-f for 2 hours. He had his 1st day yesterday and he said he had fun.

We go back to St. Judes next Monday, the 4th. He will have testing on the 5th, 6th, and 7th. Please pray the mri and lumbar puncture are clear of cancer. He will have an eye check-up. He is still having double vision when he is tired. Pray that will go away.

He did get his line out and he is off the appetite stimulant. His weight is staying around 72lbs. His appetite is back to normal.

He will be starting occupational and physical therapy again. he needs it because he is still a little wobbly and his hands are weak.
