Obadiah’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your prayers and support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

On June 12, I went to the doctor to find out why I had been having pain in my hip. The doctor felt something in my abdomen and I had to have a CT scan. They found a tumor. Two days later I had surgery but they couldn't take out the tumor. They told me I have neuroblastoma cancer. I had other tests and they said the cancer was only in the tumor. I have to have a lot of chemotherapy and surgery and radiation and other stuff too. Thanks for praying for me.

How wonderful, Congratulations TJ! Know that Obi's family will be backing you in our prayers throughout your education. Obi's Grandpa and Grandma Christenson live in New Ulm, maybe you'll get a chance to meet them someday. That would mean a lot to them. May the faith and dreams of Obadiah and his love for Jesus shine through you!
