One year ago today, Nick was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. That was a day of sadness and extreme fear as we entered into a world of unknowns. Today is a day of celebration!  We celebrate that Nick is home and cancer free!  We have learned a lot this past year. We have learned what the body and mind can endure; we have learned what faith, hope, laughter and positive attitude can do for the power of healing; and we have learned how much love and support we have from all of you!  Our family is so grateful and can never say thank you enough to show how much we have appreciated all that you have done for Nick and our family.  We have decided to make this our last journal entry and want to thank all of you for helping us though this incredible journey.
