Good afternoon,
Nick is extremely excited as his discharge date approaches. Originally today, the discharge date has been moved back to Monday where Nick will begin his next phase of therapies. We are hoping that Nick will be moving to a TCU (Transitional Care Unit) on Monday located in Omaha, Nebraska. The name of the facility, if you would like to learn more about it, is QLI. The following is a link to the website so that you can read more about the types of therapies Nick will be receiving there: http://www.qliomaha.com/ . If he goes, his expected stay is anywhere from 2-8 weeks, depending on his progress. Last night, Nick was able to leave the hospital for a couple hours to stop in to see his small group that he leads at our church every Wednesday night. Please pray for Nick in his transition and that he be surrounded with love and an open mind to learn in the next taxing phase of his recovery.

Hi India,

I am originally from Shoreview, Minnesota and was forwarded the article about this accident from my parents who still live there. I just graduated from Creighton University in Omaha and live in the Omaha area. I just wanted to reach out if you have any questions or need anything while you are here. Feel free to reach out via my email (natalieives@creighton.edu). I would be happy to help in any way.

Safe travels,
Natalie Ives

I'm so excited for your next step of therapy! Omaha, Nebraska! Who knows what God has waiting for you there! It's an adventure. I will pray for your continued healing and peace surrounding your life circumstances. Get going and maybe your Mom will bring you to Florida for a vacation. We have a nice beach just down the street!

We are so happy to hear that Nick is doing better! There are quite a few Minnehaha alum down at Creighton...some are in grad school so would be Nick's age and I'll be sure that they get his information. I'm sure visits would be welcome. Thanking God for His grace and healing hand, asking Him to continue to work His miracles in Nick's healing. Blessings to all of you and please give our best to Nick!
