We are so pleased to hear that you continue to make progress.  I get some reports from Grandma Pat when I see her as well.  I'm glad that she and Buck got settled in together in a larger room at Bickford.  We just returned from a trip out west to visit friends and Gaylen's sister in Arizona and California.  It is cold here.  Keep up the good work, Nick.  You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

Pat, thank you for doing the updates.  Been thinking of all of you and hoping that your new normal was working out.
To Nick, WOW you had Nancy Ferdig as your personal teacher.  She is awesome.  And you have Tammy as your aide, you are lucky.  I know you are in great hands.
Sandy, As birthday week rolls around, I am thinking of you and thinking of everything that has changed since last birthday.  I hope you have less excitement this next year.
Too all of you, you are doing great!  Keep learning new tricks to the old things.

We enjoy reading Nick's facebook correspondence. He may have some physical limitations but it sounds like he is a typical teenager. It is great to hear that Nick is able to work in some fun along with his therapy!I haven't forgotten your family on my prayer list! Thanks for keeping us informed!

Nick & family,

I am so glad to hear that you are continuing to make progress.  I bet your classmates are really happy to have you back.  My prayers for you and your family are that you will continue to gain strength and become more and more independent all the time.  I just talked to Grandma Pat today and told her I would be up in the city on Tuesday and would stop by to visit her and  Buck.  I hear that your uncle Rocky was back for a visit last week.  Keep up the faith.

So glad to hear an update of your progress, Nick.  I have been over to see Grandma Pat a couple of times in Kingsley.  Gaylen and I just returned from 5 days in Omaha where he had hiatal hernia repair.  We just got home tonight.  It sounds like you are getting very good care at home with friends, relatives, therapists. and the home health nurse.  We would like to come over for a visit when Pat gets back home and Gaylen gets a bit more recuperated from his surgery.
